Hi! I’m really glad that you’re taking the initiative to succeed in your/your child’s education! I’ve taken numerous upper-level science classes such as organic chemistry, biochemistry and physiology. I scored a perfect score in the Biology section of the PCAT and in the 99th percentile on the Chemistry section. Education is an extremely important factor of life. If done properly it can take you very far. I believe that problems should be solved at their core and that’s where I come in. I trust that each person has his own unique strengths, which is what I build on. Encouragement is a big part of the job, and once the student can see that he is doing well, we can build on that and show him that the rest is not much harder than that. I really enjoy learning and teaching science and math, which is why I tutor these subjects as well as others. It is extremely rewarding to see the difference in how much students have learned over time. I’ve tutored elementary and high school students and I find that students can relate to me very well because I’m closer to them in age than many, more experienced, but older tutors. I tutor using very creative and interesting methods to keep the student's excitement for the subject going.

I enjoy baking, swimming, traveling and playing the piano. I have a professional demeanor, am very perceptive as well as an astute listener. This gives me an advantage and I’m able to understand where the confusion of the student may be. I then determine the best way to translate the material into terms the student will comprehend. The process demands compassion, patience, encouragement, and responsibility on my part. However, most importantly it requires commitment and desire of the student to succeed!
